What are ‘new normal’ in real estate in your opinion?
In the US, movement into detached sfr, but this isn’t necessarily owned. Investors are building home as rental units. I think the bigger shift is in ownership, and flexibility- the ability to move as needed.
How should we adjust ourselves in real estate business?
As an investor to competition. As a builder to escalating commodity prices. As a lender to the builders flexibility in changing / increasing cost estimates and ltv ratios. As a consumer to less affordable housing.
