As real estate agents, we work in Italy and from valle d'Aosta (Courmayeur,Mont Blanc), only on quality & luxury business, with the method of experts. However, prices have not fallen but the number of sales .Ordinary business is assumed to have fallen in price and number for concluded business. If the economy is in recession, so will the housing market. °°°
